  • 2 cups cooked or skimmed chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1  cup carrots (chopped)
  • 1  cup peas
  • ½  cup corn (optional)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1  cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp  black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • 1 store-bought pie crust (top crust)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190degC)
  2. Heat the butter in a cooking pan over medium heat. Add flour and cook 1-2 minutes stirring constantly until it turns slightly golden
  3. Add the chicken broth and the milk in a sequential manner, and the mixture is mixed until it turns smooth and thick.
  4. Pour in prepared filling into a pie dish. Bake the pie crust on the top and end the edges accordingly.
  5. Bake Until the crust turns a golden brown, and this Should take about 30-35 minutes.
